Portland, Oregon's Aircraft Maintenance Center comprises approximately 15 acres at Portland International Airport, including two 112,000 square foot widebody aircraft maintenance hangars, 8 acres of ramp space and a 4 acre fire discharge detention pond.

Completed in 1993, the facility enjoys direct access to Portland's primary 11,000 foot runway and features a fully operational painting and stripping hangar, 65,000 square foot interior office accommodations, shops and parts storage, and secured, lighted parking for more than 400 vehicles.

U.S. Airlines entered the new millennium posting five consecutive years of passenger growth, record load factors and steadily increasing profitability, which today is increasingly dependent upon a $60 billion aircraft maintenance industry to insure its operational integrity. U.S. major airlines, regional carriers and new entrants all participated in this explosive expansion.
